Reflections in 2019:

This is the first song I ever worked on with Johnny Rock. We started tracking it in his parents' basement in 2009, and finished it at "The Studio Yet to Be Known as Silver Horse" in 2012 after getting kind of sidetracked.

I have a good deal of affection for this song due to the voicings I was made to use in an Open C guitar tuning I cribbed and modified from Chris Cornell. I should do more with this tuning. I also appreciate to hell all of the random back cycled things we did with vocals and guitars for textures

Lyrically the song is about being tired of fighting. Kind of a sick and tired of sick and tired type song and it was directed at a girl I dated at the time. I was petty. It was my fault as much as hers. I sincerely hope she's found peace and joy in her life.
