Reflections in 2019

This song is a complicated one to listen to because it shows my inadequacies as a performer perhaps to a more egregious level than other offerings on this record. It wants to be heavy, but it's a bit crippled in the delivery and maybe that serves to showcase something of a dedicated body seeing the sunlight for the first time. In some ways, it was my cry for help. I did a lot of experimenting tonally for this song and borrowed a 5 string bass to record as I did not own one at the time. Some people really enjoy this one and I'm happy to let them. I see promise in this song that I developed later on in my writing and performing.
